The District Team Meeting is on March 17, 2012. Please keep this date open so that you will be able to attend. At this time the location is the Wright Township Fire Hall located at 477 South Main Road Mountain Top, Pa. 18707. There will be an e-mail coming out with the starti= ng time of the meeting and hotels located in the area if you plan to travel on Friday and stay over for the Saturday meeting.

This year’s convention will be held at the Eisenhower Hotel & Convention Cen= ter in Gettysburg, Pa. Our theme for the 2012 convention will be "A Year of Holidays". The dates are Sep= tember 6, 7, and 8th. We have been able to secure rooms for the membership = for $94 + tax a night. Please be sure to make your reservations as soon as poss= ible at 1-(717)-334-8121. Be sure to tell them you are with the Gold Wing Road Riders Association.

On line reservations can be made by: = Go= to our Website at www.eisenhower.com a= nd look for the Reservations button on that front page that says Book. Press it, and then press <= span style=3D'mso-bidi-font-weight:bold'>Groups.

Enter the= Group ID 6331 and the Password 37002422 and that should allow you to en= ter an arrival and departure date and choose from available rooms. Then, you ju= st follow the prompts to make a reservation under the Group’s special block and rate. As soon as the flyer is completed we will send this out to all of the Chapters= and post it on the District web site.

We are in need of a chapter to step up and organize "All Chapters West&qu= ot; for 2012. It’s not too early to start planning. Chapter R has stepped up and has agreed to organize "All Chapter East" for 2012. We are already looking forw= ard to it. All Chapter East will be held on June 22 – 24 at the Sheshequin Campground in Trout Run, Pa.

Our Dist= rict Couple of the Year Coordinators have set up a meet and greet weekend for al= l of the Chapter Couples. The Q= uality Inn in Bedford, Pa. will be the location and the dates have been set for Fr= iday May 11th as a social get together in the evening and Saturday May 12th.
